Missions and Outreach

Making a difference in our community, nation and world is a common theme at Sunrise. The people of the church have had a heart for serving and giving for many years, however that heart is growing bigger, deeper and wider every year. It is our hope to do far more than recruit and deploy volunteers or give money – although that is very important. We dream about being transformed people – people who actually become an active part of God’s love, grace, redemption and hope for our neighbors and people in other parts of the world. As we serve others, we find that God does something in us. Below is a sampling of the ways Sunrise people are making a difference locally, nationally and in the world.
